1. The selection and preparing of raw material:
Standard and high quality medicinal material is selected from
the controlled producing area, and is processed into herbal
pieces according to the national quality control standard as the
material for the preparation of medicinal granules.
2. The extraction:
Based on the characteristics of the tissue structures of the
medicinal material and the physical and chemical properties of
its chemical components, and with the extraction rate of the
effective component or target component taken as the index, a
suitable technological parameter is made by using the orthogonal
test to compare the influences on the extractive rate produced
by different extractive dissolvent and their quantities, the
extractive times, and times for extraction. For the Chinese
herbs containing volatile compositions, ultra-critical
extraction and steam distillation methods are adopted to extract
the volatile compositions. For mineral Chinese medicinal
materials, methods of ultra micro-grinding and adjusting the PH
value of the extractive dissolvent are adopted to ensure the
content of the effective component in the medicinal granules.
3.The filtration and concentration:
Compressive filtration, horizontal type spiral sedimentation and
centrifugation are used to remove the ineffective impurities.

with relative density by means of low-temperature concentration.
4. The spray-drying:
The extract is made into dry extract powder in a twinkling with
the centrifugal spray-drying technique.
5. The package of the granules:
